IKON SKILLS™ is a skill development and competency verification platform. It runs completely on AI. Every part of it, from content delivery to competency verification, is powered by AI. Nothing is manual. The platform is live at ikonskills.ac.
It builds a skill in an IKON Practitioner through a structured Micro-Credential. Each Micro-Credential contains exactly 10 Core Competencies that must be completed in order. The IKON Practitioner works through each Core Competency one at a time. Only after demonstrating Competent on one Core Competency does the next Core Competency unlock.
The result for each Core Competency, and for the full Micro-Credential, is always one of two things only: Competent, or Not Yet Competent. There are no grades. There are no percentages. There is no partial credit. Either the IKON Practitioner can do it, or they cannot do it yet. The pass threshold for every Core Competency is 75% or above.
Every IKON Practitioner gets a journey through each Core Competency that is built for them personally by the AI. Two IKON Practitioners working on the same Micro-Credential will not get the exact same experience. The AI adjusts to each IKON Practitioner's level, language, and background.
Each Core Competency is delivered through an AI-generated sequence called an AI Interaction Prompt, or AIP. Each AIP delivers one focused unit of content, one worked example, one reflective exercise, and one pre-verification consolidation activity. This is followed by three Formative Verifications and one Summative Verification. The Summative Verification is always scenario-based, testing real-world application rather than memory recall. If a practitioner does not achieve 75%, they reattempt drawing from a pre-generated Question Bank of 120 question sets. Completing all 10 Core Competencies awards a digital badge and Certificate of Completion.
